Curious about using cannabis for yourself, your family and friends or your clients? Not really clear on which form of cannabis may be best for pain, anxiety, insomnia, cancer or other illnesses? Want to learn to make your own products but not quite sure how?

In this two-day workshop, Mitcho will cover all the various forms of cannabis medicine and how to make them including ingestibles, tinctures, liniments, and transdermal oils. Saturday will be mostly lecture: The history of cannabis, routes of ingestion, specific cannabinoids, and the ways in which cannabis works on various conditions. Sunday's class will be a hands-on workshop where we will learn to make the various forms of medicine discussed in Saturday's class.

Students will bring home items we've made in class.

Mitcho Thompson has been teaching on many aspects of Herbal Medicine for over a decade at Conferences, Senior Centers, Herb Schools, Community Colleges and Universities. He is the current Vice President of the Sonoma County Herb Association. Mitcho is a founding board member and former Community Liaison for Peace in Medicine in Sonoma County. He is the Chancellor Emeritus of Oaksterdam University’s former North Bay Campus. Mitcho is also the Vice President of the Sonoma Chapter of Americans for Safe Access. He and his partner have a CCOF farm in South Sebastopol with a large garden where they teach workshops and help others learn to heal. His new business “Phytomagic” located in downtown Sebastopol will focus on the manufacturing of “CannaCentric” Herbal Products of all sorts.
