Earth Stewardship Cultivating a Sense of Place... a Walking Meditation with an Herbalist

Wednesday Mornings from 10-noon • 2019 Dates TBA

What would it mean to feel deeply-rooted and connected to the Earth, no matter where you are? Join Judy Lieblein as she shares how to cultivate a sense of place while learning how the Five Elements (air, earth, fire, water and ether) move through our lives and are reflected in our surroundings, bodies and plants/herbs.

This will be loosely structured to allow for the nature of the place to evoke our deeper questions and answers. Time will be spent in walking meditation to cultivate belonging to the Earth, a medicine sharing on the Elements and how to work with them, and an open question and answer period with an experienced herbalist and shamanic practitioner.

This will be an easy-paced walk along Limantour Beach/Muddy Hollow. We will meet at the picnic tables by the bathroom at the lower entrance hear the Muddy Hollow trail entrance. Temperature will vary and can get very windy at times. Rain will cancel. Bring layers, a hat, sunscreen, water and snacks. Pre-registration (below) is helpful but not required.

Judy Lieblein is co-owner of Gathering Thyme and has been working as a clinical Herbalist, Shamanic Practitioner and Reiki Master for more than 20 years. Judy assists adults, children and animals in addressing their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual concerns. Her work is centered towards cultivating health and well-being, personal responsibility, independence and empowerment through medicinal herbs, flower essences, energy work and self awareness.
