Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To qualify for a refund, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened and unused, in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Bulk herbs and spices as well as our herbal tea blends are NOT returnable.

To start a return, you must first contact us at gatheringthymeorders@gmail.com. If your items qualify for a return, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Returns must be received by us within 2 weeks of approval.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Bulk herbs, spices and our custom-blended teas are not returnable. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, following the process outlined above, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 5 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to your account.

CANCELING AN ORDER

We normally ship orders within 2-3 business days of receipt. If you need to cancel an order, please do it as soon as possible by calling us at 415-524-8693. If we do not receive your cancellation before we package and ship your order, you must refuse delivery of the order or return it promptly to our store after which we will refund the amount you paid less the shipping fee. Please refer also to our Return Policy (see above).

CALIFORNIA PROPOSITION 65

Please refer to Proposition 65 which requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm.
